An original painting is not an ordinary parcel. Works leave the studio on the Côte d’Azur individually packed, fully insured, and handled by carriers used to moving art. This page explains how that works, what it costs, and how long it takes.
How your work is packed
Each painting is protected with acid-free materials, corner protection and rigid board, then wrapped against moisture and shock. Larger works — and any work travelling outside France — are shipped in a purpose-built wooden crate.
Works are never folded, rolled or removed from their stretcher. They travel exactly as they hang.
Where we deliver
France and Monaco
Door-to-door delivery by specialised art transport. The carrier collects the work from the studio and delivers it to the address you give at checkout. The cost is shown at checkout before you pay.
Europe
Door-to-door delivery by specialised art transport, in a wooden crate. The cost is shown at checkout before you pay.
Rest of the world
We deliver worldwide, but outside Europe delivery is arranged individually and quoted on request. Please write to info@karinvanos-concepts.com with the work you are interested in and your delivery address, and we will come back to you with a firm price and timescale before you commit to anything.
Collection from the studio
If you are on the Côte d’Azur, you are welcome to collect the work in person. Studio visits are by appointment — please get in touch to arrange one.
How long it takes
Works are prepared for despatch within 5 working days of your order. Transit then typically takes 3 to 7 working days within France and Monaco, and 7 to 15 working days elsewhere in Europe. Outside Europe, transit time is confirmed with your quotation.
You will receive tracking details as soon as the work is collected from the studio.
Insurance
Every work is insured in transit for its full purchase price, at our expense. You have nothing to arrange.
On delivery
Please inspect the outer packaging before signing for the work. If you see any damage at all, note it precisely on the carrier’s delivery document before signing, and photograph the packaging before unpacking. Then contact us within 3 working days. Our Refund and Returns Policy explains what happens next.
Customs and duties outside the EU
For deliveries outside the European Union, any import duties, taxes or customs clearance charges are payable by the buyer and are not included in the delivery price. We provide all documentation required for the export of an original work of art.
